Affiliate disclosure
The short version: we earn a commission when you book a holiday through one of our links. It costs you nothing and it never changes your price.

What an affiliate link is
Most of the outbound links on this site — every Check price on Hays Travel button, and the deal cards that lead to them — are affiliate links. When you click one and go on to book, Hays Travel pays us a share of what they earn on that booking. That payment comes out of their margin, not out of your pocket.
What it does not do
It does not change your price. You pay Hays Travel exactly what you would pay going to them directly, typing their address into your browser. We have no exclusive prices, no discount codes and no ability to alter a price at their end. If we ever did, we’d say so on the deal.
It does not change what we show you. The deals we list, the order we list them in, and the way we rank Top Trending Deals are all set by the rules on our How we work page. Commission is not one of those rules and it is not an input to the ranking.
Where we tell you
In three places, deliberately, because one is not enough:
- Directly beneath the button you’re about to press, before you press it. This is the important one.
- On every page, in the footer.
- On every deal listing, and on the card itself where there’s room for it.
If any of that is unclear, or you think we’ve buried it, tell us at [email protected]. We’d rather fix it than argue about it.
If we’re ever paid for a placement
We don’t currently sell placement. If that ever changes, the module carries a visible Promoted label, and no paid placement will ever appear inside Top Trending Deals.
Who to contact
Anything about a booking — changes, cancellations, payments, protection — goes to Hays Travel, because they hold the booking and we don’t. Anything about this website goes to [email protected].
